Wow, that was … wow.
It's amazing that AT can go from the hallucinatory mania of The Great Bird Man to such a toned down and deeply sad episode.  Tom Kenny is amazing.  Every line as Simon was so perfectly paternal, down to the lame jokes.  Oh man, there is nothing sadder than a sad rendition of the Cheers theme

Oh yeah.

Boondock Saints.  I know there are people who like this movie genuinely,  but boy is that movie shitty.  It's so aggressively dumb; every single scene fades to black, and the horrible text in the beginning introducing people, it's attempts to be "deep," it's all just so terrible, and SO funny. SO funny.  I don't think

After the first mention, the root beer moment I remember the most is during Quark's drunken rant about how he misses serving Root Beer and the Federation in general.  It's one of my favorite Quark moments.  Really I think everything from "In the Cards" to "You are Cordially Invited" is impecable.

I didn't read the article, just the title, and I knew it was a Todd article.
After he realized, with jubilance, that we were living in a golden age of television, Todd perceived everything as a threat, hiding the golden age under his bed to protect it.

Especially after Bashir's dilemma in "Life Support," how Bashir was handled in this episode always bugged me.

SPOILERS
I love, love how the writers almost tease the audience with the belief that Dukat is on a redemption arc and then so totally crush it.

I agree, the voiceovers in this episode reminded me of the voice overs in Wally's episode with the rush to the hospital where they just seemed to be stating the obvious.  Artemis is a great character and I've been wanting a more her-centric episode, because despite being in an important position we haven't seen it

Aw man, I've been re-watching DS9 with my roommate on Netflix and we have to watch the theme song EVERY SINGLE TIMES.  We try to see how much we can get done during that time: go to the bathroom, get a snack, fold our laundry, make a soufflé, build a model ship …

I think this episode proves just how creepy Lemongrab is.  The scene where he eats the pie out of the rat's mouth was hilarifying.

I agree with you that a more respect, compassion and compromise would enhance this nation's political conversation, which I am not alone (as we can see by this article, these comments, and walking down the street) in being disappointed in.

I feel compelled to make a "Frankenstein meets the Wolfman" joke.

I second this, I actually enjoyed this episode a lot. I felt the stupid was dialed down (though I love Regina's "two idiots" line) when they actually stood around and discussed a problem instead of rushing off barging into people-they-think-are-murderers-houses plan from two weeks ago.  And it looks like stuff is

I'm not well versed in Voyager, but I always felt uneasy when DS9 explored I, Hologram territory which marred bits of season 7 for me (SPOILERS for s7 ahead)

Ah man, Jake and Ezri would have been great. New head-cannon excepted!
(SPOILERS)
My biggest problem with Ezri's romances is that it undid a lot of other people's character development.  Bashir and Quark vying for Ezri's attention always seemed creepy and immature considering how far the characters had grown, but more

I loved the voice on the lead fox and the combining robot pups design(is it a robot when it's made of puppies?).
