My roommate and I decided not to get cable. Internet is far more important. Hulu is a great place to catch shows and with an xbox360 and a Netflix account we're very solid on entertainment.

@ddillman: Security has to be in airports. It's a necessity. Are the security measures which are in place right now the best ones? I don't believe so. But to suggest that there shouldn't be any measures or that they haven't prevented any terrorist attacks or that passengers would be just as safe with no security…

@minjChE: I agree, it's impossible to calculate the odds on something like this. The statistics have most certainly been affected by our security measures, however good or bad they may be, and removing them would most certainly have some kind of effect on those statistics.
