Supposedly it's a pretty easy process acquiring Playstation system kits for development. That being said, I too would enjoy this quite heavily on the Vita.
We don't want outrageous microtransactions and yet they keep adding them to their games. Grateful indeed. Making gamers potentially pay for usually implemented content as DLC is a kick in the nuts.
Most games are adapting this release model. I don't know how to feel about this. Makes for that unsettling feeling that overcomes you when stuck waiting for the next episode of 24.
