Sure. But how does any of that prevent coverage? Kotaku is the odd one out. Everyone else seems to have no problem mentioning the yearly marathon in an article. I love that Kotaku highlighted AGDQ and just wonder why they don’t do the same for other gaming charities.

Actually Extra Life is built around a single event. It can easily be followed and covered. As clearly shown by almost every other major gaming sites coverage. The 24hour fundraising marathon happens the same time every year. You can just raise money for the charity year round with your own streams and smaller events.

Yo

Extra Life is the first big one that comes to mind. Kotaku is pretty much the only big gaming site that ignores it. They have not said a peep about arguably the biggest gaming charity event in almost 4 years. Can throw in Stack-Up (never mentioned) and AbleGamers (2 articles back in 2016 that were not even directly

Is there a set rationale for why Kotaku covers certain gaming charities that raise millions of dollars each year but not others?

Now playing

Tough question. The two that come to mind for me are Wet and Syndicate (2012).

Wet was mindless bloody fun even with the repetition, iffy camera and not always reliable controls. I dug the campy dialogue, super violence and art style.

I just want Silver Surfer to get another chance. I know that is unlikely and the idea of a silver man on a surf board is a tough sell but he was one of my favs as a kid and they did him so dirty in the second F4 film.

I like the way she looks. I don’t like that Cameron wrote the screenplay though.

I’ve never, ever played a Zelda game and thought to myself “what a great story!” I play them because they are fun, interesting and polished. But the plots are almost always cookie cutter and threadbare. Majora’s Mask is the closest I’ve come to even noticing a story.

Zelda or Link as the star it does not matter much

I’m glad they are bringing in real voice talent because season one was just painful to listen to. Like a fan dub of a 1970's anime. Mind you a lot of the voices from this upcoming season are still pretty bad. I’m just glad to have more Transformers though so I can deal with it.

Ya I have no doubt she’ll get some cool skins. Shame about the default is all.

She...looks bad. Her abilities seem super awesome. But she just looks crummy. That stupid looking half mask and boring armour. Keep her hands and red hair and scrap the rest. Oh and her voice sounds like place holder audio. She looks fun to play but she is by far the worst looking hero to date.

I played on my Switch undocked off and on for the first month. Since then it has not left the dock once. I have smaller, more portable handheld gaming consoles with bigger libraries for when I am travelling.

This has been my Twitter header since the game came out.

I love ink. And he can get whatever he wants on his skin. BUT...for someone with the money to get work done by the very best in the biz...WTF is that mess? It looks like someone just shadded him in and then kicked him out the door.

So ornaments, new perks on the already boring reskinned weapons from Iron Banner etc and a bunch of cosmetics to push buying engrams with real money? Well I’m excited. Is everyone else excited?

We are officially in “don’t play until new expansion, play hardcore for 3 weeks then wait months until next expansion

I think most of the core gamers are looking at Origins as the first interesting AC game in a long time. Minus their preorder campaign which is super shitty. Fuck that camel.

Where is the gif of an Oscar award taking a shit that looks like Harvey? Cause that’s what comes to mind hearing the Oscars expelled him.

I’m 36. I’ve been to 6 weddings in my life so far. Most of which were friends getting married when we were all in our early 20's. Only 2 actually used the whole “speak now or forever hold your peace” bit. I get the sense that few people if any ever actually use that moment to voice their objections even if they had
