It hadn’t occurred to me that Dan Gurney could die. There are lots of other older celebrities that I wonder how long we will get to enjoy them, but that thought hadn’t even crossed my mind for Dan Gurney; he was like some kind of immortal super human. RIP.

Me and Sven.

I’m mourning the Volvo C30 in general and my Volvo C30 specifically. When I bought my C30 in 2008, it was both the fastest car and the cheapest car that Volvo made. It was the first car I bought new and I loved and named it Sven.

I miss two in particular:

Not eBay, but my local credit union’s repo lot has a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte for 22k

I was waiting for some asshole to say something like this, dissapointed the need was felt to do so.........

It's now the Suzuki Alto G-MA edition.

Also, yes I learned how to wrench. I believe the initial jobs list looked like this:

This 1979 Lincoln Continental, it gets 11 mpg no matter where or how I am driving, it is hilariously slow, it won’t fit in my garage, it barely fits in the driveway, it doesn’t fit in most parking spots, and I don’t need it.

Fuckin’ NASCAR didn’t get my yuge list of complaints:

Sunbeam- Do you think we will get noticed?

good luck attending a race any any oval track. That’s a good rule for rally type racing, but there seemed to be a good amount of buffer between the track and the stands. You usually don’t expect a car to go dead straight into an already compromised wall, that said, accidents happen.

JUDAS PRIEST TORCHINSKY!

Rumor has it that they were working on a design that only looks good when automotive journalists are present and reviewing it.

This and the final version are god awful ugly. Scare children ugly. Recoil in horror ugly. Why can’t they make something that isn’t hideous?

Yes, sponsored content is a thing that most editorial organizations do. But that doesn’t mean every article they write is sponsored content. Personally, I don’t think this article he’s talking about was sponsored content because no editorial is going to publish a sponsored article that could be interpreted as libel.

When you read that headline up there about a bunch of snails destroying an old Trabant, I’m sure most of you were thinking “In drag race, right?”

The unicorn that is the 5th gen Accord SiR. Present in Gran Turismo 1 & 2. Kind of like a 4-door prelude making around 190 hp from a 2.2l I-4 with a 7500 rpm redline. I had the 145 hp EX as my first car (been with my family for 17 years) and had the same front headlamps and turn signals as the SiR installed. Compared

Honestly, I saw more difference between good lines and bad lines than I did between FWD/RWD/AWD. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
