Fiat doesn’t need new models to move some numbers, they need to break whatever Gentleman's agreement they have with Mazda and shove a 2 liter turbo into the Fiata with at least 240HP and they’d sell, even if the appearance is disappointing. 10lbs/HP solves all of life's myriad problems.

TBH, I feel bad for alfa. Its their dealers that are killing them.

How is the Alfa sedan uncompetitive? It was voted best sedan by most auto mags when it was in a comparison with its peers.

Can’t the Stelvio be re-jiggered to look like this?  I mean, the basic proportions are the same.  New powertrains, a hot new look, aggressive pricing...?

I want an Alfa GTV!

I completely disagree. I am with Sergio that the Alfa Romeo brand has more positive locked up brand value than any car company in existence. The problem is that he died half way through the needed roll out and the funds got diverted immediately to Chrysler products. Most people in the US have no idea what an Alfa

“from then on all future Maseratis will have a full battery-electric option.”

Fingers crossed that the Tonale still happens in the US. My biggest gripe with the Stelvio is that it looks....a bit odd/outdated. I cant explain why exactly, but it looks ancient parked next to a Q5, etc.

Huh well I guess I’m glad i just leased my Guilia instead of buying. Maybe if the peugot 508 makes it here Ill give that a try

Alfa was a vanity project for Sergio.

You only buy a Masersti for the sound, and now they want to make it an EV? Talk about killing a brand

So no Giulia coupe?!

This makes me sad for Alfa Romeo.  I wonder what parts and service will be like in a few years for owners.

I really, really hate that Maserati, Alfa and, to a lesser degree, Fiat have been left to anguish while they focus on putting big-screen infotainment in RAM and tacking a pick up bed on the back of the Wrangler.

I, for one, am glad that FCA graced us with new Alfa’s over more Fiats.

People are also forgetting how old the Model S is, the porsche being newer, and way more money, better be nicer/better/faster.

Those numbers make it really hard to justify spending so much extra money on the Porsche, at least for me. Marginally faster, much more expensive, and significantly LESS range? That might be a hard sell.

Doesn’t Tesla have a roadster? Wouldn’t that be more comparable?

Honestly that is kind of a tough choice when you figure that twice the price get you less than Half a second in the quarter mile and .007 seconds to 60 the latter of which is utterly meaningless
