It’s impressive how casually “space colonization” and “megastructures in space” are tossed off as potential solutions to some of the problems created by longevity, like the challenges of long term human habitation off-planet are something to which we just need to apply a little more gumption.

We know that the families lost the lawsuits and that the theaters claim that they did all that they were required was upheld by the court. I’m not going to say that the families were greedy. Grief is a hell of a thing. But the lawsuit was really shaky to begin with.
