No, caffeine is NOT a wise treatment for ADHD, especially in children.

For one thing, the “dose”is erratic.

But more importantly, caffeine doesn’t work in the brain as the stimulants do. It tends to “over shoot the targets” and create anxiety and irritability, not to mention interfere with sleep and create an addiction.
