Looking back, replacing a character with another character (see ‘70's show has example) has generally worked worse than recasting. So I agree with you.

Agreed, if the film had been straight up scifi, it would have be a classic. That withstanding, I did like it a lot anyways.

Jon Bernthal is probably the only one where a main character is the played by the best actor on the show. Seems like all the other series over their course had several supporting characters that was better actors then the main.

As bad as the movies maybe, the books are infinitely worse. I think that at least the movies got better and the last one was decent.

As probably one of the oldest fans of ATLA (I was 50+ when it came out), I felt that this show was ignore by most adults because it was a “cartoon” and was on Nick. This show was well written and produced. This live adaption may open the door to bringing a lot of new fans to this universe, and it deserves more fan.…

I don’t watch much regular TV, but damn if Jeff Daniels didn’t deserve his for Godless. He absolutely nailed that role.

This is exactly why they are not getting a dime from me for Anthem. A DLC or two would have done wonders Andromeda, elevating it into fairly decent, instead of just decent.
