What are you talking about? They are the same gestures - pinch to zoom, long press for menu, etc.

What's wrong with adding pinching? I thought it was great to have choice? If you want to do a zoom by pinch, do it. If you want to use the trackball or menu then you have that option as well. What's so egregious about that?

I can see how it's questionable and rightly so. However, the difference I can see is that the MBA is here and here first as an ultra-thin notebook so there's nothing more that the Samsung offers than what's already here and super thin. Same with iPad. It's here and first as super-thin.
