The show is the epitome of “uneven.” Some really great episodes, some stretches of incredible boredom. Some very compelling character work, but they’re almost always passing the “idiot ball” around, and having characters do astoundingly dumb things, just to move the plot along.

Do you like misery porn? Because nothing good happens to anyone in the whole entire show. It just get’s more and more depressing. Not to mention it can be god awful boring and slow(season 2) I gave up half way through season 3 because I just didn’t give a damn anymore.

I never really got the appeal of Annie Hall either. Maybe because all of its clever techniques have all been borrowed and refined by decades of other movies and sitcoms? I get irritated by all the gorram Gwent missions cluttering up my quests screen. I’ve done everything else (the fun stuff), so it’s just a wall of Gwent now.

Haven’t got the game (yet; I’ll probably get it when it’s cheap) but I’d probably go Evie when it’s an option. I’m already a white dude and videogames are supposed to be escapism. The further I can get from who I am in real life the better!
