Official LEGO kits seem to adhere to a design constraint of always having the bumps face up or down. The builder of this model has used some clever trickery to do the fuselage with the bumps facing outwards from the sides, allowing him to do a MUCH better job getting the overall shape, the angles and the proportions

If this isn't an indication that the Civic has lost its core ideals, i don't know what is. It's the size of an Accord from a few years ago, and there's no hatchback offered anywhere other than Europe. Get the Civic back to its roots!
