Curious about the headline. Is there a history of America letting Black women linger in foreign detention during politically volatile situations? I’m not an expert so I genuinely don’t know. Being first implies that others in similar situations have not been released. Maybe ‘only’ Black woman is the more appropriate

There are NO good cops.

An outstanding warrant would have allowed the officers to search Rosales’ car, or hold him aside as they sniffed the car with a drug dog”

Are you serious?  Not just Black Women advocated for her release. Shame on you!

She went to another country, broke the rules, wound up in jail, and got off while a Marine was forsaken by his country. Why are we acting like she was just minding her own business and they nabbed her? same with Asap Rocky and Sweden (?) though his case was more justifiable.

On this joyous occasion Stephanie Holland chooses to exhibit the crude Black male-hating element of Black feminism.

Nice headline, I didn’t realize that black women were the only ones advocating for her release this whole time.

We couldn’t even get the early version that included Whelan. This isn’t a trade to celebrate like this site believes, congratulations a WNBA player is coming back to the US, and Russia gets an arms dealer with a shit ton of experience in the middle of an invasion.

Let’s hope she gained some perspective from the experience.

Awesome now when will the US be releasing the thousands of “political prisoners” in prison for weed crimes?

The whole premise of this was about tipping Amazon drivers, which is literally the first time in my life I’ve heard of someone tipping a delivery driver. The closest I can think of is when somebody leaves a thank you card to the postman in their mailbox. How does one even tip an Amazon driver? I would be 99% of Amazon

I made another post about this, but I figure if I reply to someone, someone might actually see it.

Depending on where you live, a $2500 car could be lacking some of those things too...

The power of the boner is amazing. Some men will throw money at women just to experience that feeling below.

Too bad the settlement didn’t require the CEO to spend at least one day in jail to experience what Hertz put their customers through.

It’s absurd that lawyers get to benefit equally from other people’s pain and suffering.

True, for the victims, but for Hertz, this was a bargain and really of no consequence, since the payment isn’t even coming out of their pocket. As much as the new CEO might claim otherwise, there is no reason to believe that Hertz has been punished like they deserve or has learned their lesson.

I feel like the term gaslighting might have reached a point where it is being somewhat overused

Write an article proving you’ve never had kids without saying you’ve never had kids.

Still not enough, but its more than I expected. This penalty doesnt even affect their bottom-line meanwhile innocent peoples lives were at enormous risk.
