This is between them and the people they were/are married to. This is personal business not public business. Just because you see folk on TV every day doesn’t mean you’re entitled to be in their personal business.

Call me old fashioned, but I actually don’t think it’s unreasonable to not prioritize the opinion of a 14, 15, 16 year old in a professional environment, even if that teenager has as much experience as an older worker.

I’m sure it was frustrating to her, but it’s not surprising a roomful of adults wouldn’t be looking for creative input from a 14 year-old.  

Michelle spoke a lot of truths. Folk need to listen in stead of ‘shooting’ the messenger. I understand all of her points. we should not glamorize courtships. People change, be ready for it. Work to make your marriage/relationship successful, it is not a fairy tale, it is real life.

A lot of people have really decided that any behavior they don’t like should literally be illegal. Win Butler is a dick. A groupie thinking they were in a relationship and being wrong isn’t abuse.

Butler sounds more and more like an asshole, but this again hardly strikes me as abuse. And I can’t but feel this makes it that much harder for people experiencing true abuse to be taken seriously. “Rock star treats sexual partner like shit couldn’t” be more of a cliche if it tried.

In what reality can you decide after the fact that a 3 year long relationship that you enthusiastically participated in was “inappropriate”?

This is another one where Butler’s statement and Sabine’s statement don’t contradict each other. This is a mutual interaction between consenting adults that one party came to regret.
