Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
There’s a lot to unpack there, but this one hit me:
My parents never talked about money in front of us. They did the normal ‘teaching your kids about money’ things like getting the passbook savings account and rolling quarters into paper sleeves to take to the bank, but I had little idea about how they managed their money.
Same - sort of.
Go ahead. I live near one and used to take the baby stroller through it. If there were other people in there, they probably assumed I was just visiting a grave. No one ever asks why someone else is in the cemetery. If you’re there to visit someone, it’s clear what you’re doing. If you’re there to do whippets and kick…
Chad Oucho culo
ahhh - I forgot about his Ravens ring.
Peterman’s career is all but over - and he deserves it - but Richard Sherman can go kick rocks with that take.
True, it’s not a perfect comparison. Taylor is a better QB than Dilfer and he will end his career with a better stat line. But, unless something changes, he will not end his career with a ring.
Not sure what fanbase you were hearing from, but Tyrod’s benching was not popular in Buffalo.
Yeah.
Not that billionaire NFL owners need someone to stick up for them, but bullshit. If the Pegulas are so racist, why did they sign Taylor to a six year $92 million contract last year? He’s guaranteed $14.5 million this year, $16 million next year.
Despite the prevailing image of racist, redneck Bills fans, the truth is that they supported Taylor. Most people I know thought Taylor’s week 17 benching last year was rotten. After watching a few seasons of Fitzmagic and Kyle Orton counting down the days to retirement, Taylor’s glimpses of competent passing and game…
Maybe they can ride a high horse with you instead.
yah I stopped.
I hope so. Exposure to other ways of living, people, cultures, etc is a good thing. I did it and I expect my kids to get the same bug. I’ve tried living in the city, suburbs, extremely rural areas (Alaska), a couple of other countries... I ended up returning to the American suburban way of life because -…
The suburbs get a bad rap. They are undeniably lame, but I like the lameness.
Dad voice is a tool that requires practice. In the Army, I sometimes used Dad voice, but I couldn’t always pull it off. It wasn’t the right time. I was too young and it felt like I was straining. I learned to just say quiet words to my NCOs and rely on their Dad voices.
If you ever get around to buying good socks - make sure your significant other is on board with it.
All the good takes are already here, so here’s a ranking of the runners-up.
