Yep, I agree, and as I’ve said elsewhere, the 911 is a prime example of doing it right. The Model 3 isn’t.

I read last week that BMW will not be offering Android Auto at all, just Apple CarPlay. But only if you get the navigation option for $2k...

Yeah, I get that’s a crash bar jutting out, but there’s nothing to stop them from adding something to make it more aesthetically pleasing. It just looks unfinished.

I’m not saying it can’t look good - the 911 is a prime example of how to do it right - but this is not a good execution. It’s too much blank space, and what I’m guessing is a crash bar behind the jut out only makes it worse. It needs something to break that space up, even superficially.

Yeah me too. I get that its more aerodynamic and such, but it just doesn’t look right. You just can’t have that much blank space at the front of a car and have it look good.

Everytime I read one of these ‘I didn’t think it would affect meeeee!’ articles, this is always my response:

I think it would be fascinating to catch up with Sally as an adult - but I want to say that it’d be cheating the majority of the main characters to come back to them, especially Don. They all completed very satisfying character arcs by the end. But who am I kidding, I’d still watch the shit out of any Mad Men follow

I think EBT7 is pointing out the frequency with which the actor who played Bobby changed throughout the series.

In guessing someone in charge said to someone with no say in the matter ‘add tire smoke to this picture’ and they just did what they were told. I worked somewhere the bosses overrode the expertise of the marketing department daily.

The Toyota Corolla FX16: we’d have designed the wheels with a straight edge too if it was possible.

Ha! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t do the same. I think ‘Lexus photoshop fail’ is what finally worked.

There’s nobody in the car.

It think the new season has been pretty fantastic so far, and I’ve started looking forward to each episode again. The last episode was absolutely cracking - there wasn’t a misstep from start to finish. If they can keep that momentum going I’ll happily tune in every week.

Always wanted one of those. The Breras fettled by Prodrive are supposed to be absolute gems as well.

Now playing

Just don’t go chasing an Aston in one. It never ends well.

Yeah but the first-gen 200 was at best a refreshed third-gen Sebring with a different badge on the tail. Let’s not pretend that Lancia ragtop is anything other than some Sebring leftovers warmed up in the FCA microwave.

Better?

Yeah, but with the Panda being mechanically simple you could fix whatever broke with some spit and a band-aid at the side of the road (or perhaps track) in about 10 minutes. That monstrosity probably needs an army of engineers, the GDP of a small country, and a calendar month just to diagnose the problem.

Well, if any class of vehicle best encapsulates the appliance masquerading as something more interesting, it’s the compact crossover, and the Equinox is a prime example.
