Yeah the last one is OK. Really it’s all down to the kind of customers Bugatti have. If they afford to drop a million or two on a car, they’re not going to blink at the prospect of 40k for a bike or a 100k for a watch that match. Especially since they’ll just be added to whatever collection they have and probably end

Hey, at least the bike looks good, unlike this gaudy piece of shit that was offered alongside the Veyron:

I think the idea for this was to be a limited run special, not something to just be inserted between the TT and the A5, and I don’t know what this car would have done other than cannibalize sales from the TT (a regular production model would’ve almost certainly shared the MQB platform). As much as I love it, the time

I guess you could call it that, at it’s most basic. But it would have been a whole lot better than that. The RS3 and the TT-RS are both undermined by the Golf platform, and the FWD-based Haldex system, that struggles to effectively put the power down and handle well at speed. The Quattro would have shared the RS5's

It was meant to evoke the short wheelbase Sport Quattro. The original concept drawing give a good idea of this:

That’s what the Quattro Concept was underneath: a shortened RS5 platform with the TT-RS’ 5 pot Turbo mill up front.

North Face Borealis. My wife bought her’s 10 years ago for school and it has been the best backpack I’ve ever used. It’s been all over the world and never let us down. We’ve both used it extensively, I even had it as my main pack while we backpacked in Europe for 3 weeks in 2014.

Here’s one for the lowlow price of just a 1000 bucks! How can you lose?

Oh, definitely. The first thing I wondered even before I started watching was if they would have even half the issues David has.

I daresay David is doing a more thorough job than the Roadkill boys. It sounded like the engine was gonna grenade before they swapped the oil out.

Now playing

I’m not crying, it’s just been raining on my face.

I’d rather that than listen to Spielberg’s wife shriek for 2 hours.

Wouldn’t have worked. Too wet.

When I lived in the UK, I saw a fair few of the pre-facelift kicking about. I’ve NEVER seen one of the newer ones though. I know it had its flaws but I really think that grille killed the desirability quite a bit.

This to me was always the true spiritual successor to the Mini. A well packaged car that had naturally great handling as a result, ever so slightly let down by an ancient engine. I always thought it was a shame Ford never really did more with the KA other than strap a bodykit on and stuff a slightly larger engine in.

That actually really good to know. I read a lot of horror stories about VW ownership, and I’d love to consider a lightly used GTI as my next car.

I don’t either, but performance doesn’t really seem to be Mazda’s goal at the moment. Maybe once they get another rotary car off the ground?

I do think it’s a shame Mazda don’t offer a more potent 6, as its already got the show, but it seems like they’re concentrating on maximizing efficiency just now.

I thought of suggesting either the 3 or the 6, but if the guy’s image at work is a consideration, I don’t think a compact is gonna swing it.
