I was hoping it would be sort of anthology styled, where a number of big name and up-and-coming documentary directors would each get a part, with Ken Burns overseeing it all.

David Gemmell wrote The Siege of Dros Delnoch (later renamed Legend) after being diagnosed with cancer, which they originally thought was terminal. Great book.

My issue with Sports Night: Peter Krause. I also can't watch Parenthood or Six Feet Under. I don't know what it is. He seems to inspire some sort of raging coma that causes me to give up on anything he's ever worked on.
