1) I know you didn’t say “populous” cities. Neither did I.

What about, “I couldn’t be happier” Or, “I don’t think I could love you any more.” These are the same construction as “I couldn’t care less,” they just exist on the opposite end of the spectrum. This kind of phrase is not nearly as rare as you seem to believe it is.

I’ve stayed out of this until you wrote, “people don’t express feelings in the negative in English,” which is patently absurd.

How can your list of world cities include Rome, but omit every city from Asia? At a minimum, Tokyo and Hong Kong are far more significant in almost every way.

When you were young, and dreaming of being a writer, did you ever imagine you’d actually become a professional shit-stirrer and outrage-monger who can’t be bothered by intellectual honesty or nuance?

LOL, whut???

Awwww. This guy’s in love.

And Tim Krumrie’s very floppy leg.

“White People Are Running Out of Reasons To Hate Cam Newton.”

Superbowl?!? Sounds like somebody has been dipping into the stash of Arts and Crafts Tomy Romo.

Exactly.

You don’t see how being diagnosed with a terminal and highly-stigmatized disease could make you go even further off the rails?

If a man has unprotected vaginal intercourse with a woman who is HIV positive, what do you believe is the percent chance the encounter will lead to infection?

Lame, all around.

That’s a fair point, but not enough for me to convert!

As a man, I’d love it if women stopped calling me a dick!

“Words mean the same thing, regardless of who says them.”

It’s “just deserts.” You can look it up.

It’s only a “double-standard” in the same way that certain white people complain about not being able to use the N-word.
