Thank you. I’ve been pretty anti-Chappelle since that shit and everyone is all like “well besides that he’s awesome!” I don’t understand why he gets a pass on that.

I’ve never understood why many of the same people who (rightly) police racism/white privilege among white women often choose to overlook sexism/male privilege among men of color.

Person #1: My boyfriend gets drunk and hits me but I’m going to give him another chance.

And once again, my father, who, as I have said before on other posts, predicted Trump’s nomination, win, and Russian connections (“there are too many Russians in this campaign”), was right - he also predicted that Trump would blab top secret information to either reporters or foreign countries. He’s been right about

Bernie and Perez can’t get on the same page and they basically are the party leadership now.

This SNL performance aggrieved me beyond all reason, and I didn’t watch the show at all until a few weeks ago because of this monologue, and another sketch that he did. His “Well, now you all know how we feel” schtick (presumably about the being screwed over by the political system) was infuriating at the time, and

Yeah that was a giant turn off to me. When men of color dismiss sexism as not a big deal because they’ve dealt with racism I always think to myself “Do women of color not exist to you?”

but why did we have to give trump a chance when the trumpers never gave obama a chance? nah, i don’t owe trump shit. he made it pretty clear while campaigning exactly the type of man he is and the president he would be.

I love Chappelle, but Trump proved that he’s a wildly inconsistent, bizarre, childish man with impulse control issues before he was elected.

When a person seeks and is given a job by appealing to the country’s racist, misogynist, xenophobic id, you should definitely be embarrassed if you said “Let’s give him a chance.” Hell, I think people should be embarrassed when they offered the bullshit platitude that they wished him success despite the fact that they

Did you? I seem to remember most on here’s calling him out for it, much in the same way for Sarandon, because as a very wealthy person they don’t have much to fear about a Trump admin coming for them. Even if they are a POC or woman. But at least he has the sense to backtrack instead of double down like Susan.

So are we going to ignore the 10+ minutes of rape jokes and “sexism isn’t as bad as racism” during his last comedy special?

He didn’t deserve a chance. We’re reminded daily why he didn’t as he casually ruins anything decent about America. I knew he’d be the worst thing to happen to America and I’m sad I was right.

I got ripped a new one on here for even mentioning that this remark from Dave was totally fucked up. I’m glad that even he can admit it now.

What do you mean chinless? I’m counting at least three there!

Well, he did get her off that fancy website and all..

Isn’t Mo’Nique just confirming that she’s “hard to work with” and demanding?

For a guy who thinks his cause is a righteous one, he is sure a whiny baby.

With the way things currently are in there, he might class up the place.

So now Chuck Johnson is taking a shit on the floor of the White House?
