If we can trust the "previous hatesong" link at the end of the article, the most recent entry before this was in October. I don't remember when the Sublime piece ran.

He did use the word "heteronormative" what, three times in one answer. Is that not enough?!? ;-)

It's been so long since this feature appeared I really thought the editorial folks took all the "this feature sucks" comments to heart and killed it.

I suspect they're considered EDM because, based on their SNL appearance, most of their instrumentation is keyboard based.

You don't sign a detente. It's not a document.

Yes, I did. And it bothered me. And not in a subtle way.

Maybe? It all depends on how you parse the sentence. "The forest moon of Endor" could be the name of the moon, or a moon orbiting the planet Endor.

Looks like we're never going to find out.

Is that…is that a Radiohead lyric? Song title?

I'm just quoting the article. You should be pushing your glasses at…Mr. Hughes. Although, I do love being accurate, so I get from where you're coming.

Love it!

Yeah…just like that…

I don't think the first failure happening during "Full Stop" is ironic, it's coincidental. Or "appropriately".

Well, I'm willing to not see something that I'm unsure about in a theater, instead watching it on TV later. But there are some movies that demand the big screen, and I knew the visuals were going to be stellar.

We can agree to disagree, but I am curious as to what you're referencing when you say "Extremely tasteless in one instance"?

"which historical inaccuracies?"

Can't argue with that!

Was walking out supposed to be part of the answer?

I'm sure there's a cut on the internet of just the sinking. Take all the scenic stuff and the sinking and just make it a documentary. No Jack, no Rose, no dialogue.

I'll still watch parts of it, but the horribleness of everything not production-value related never goes away. Which is unfortunate since all the things you reference are truly impressive.
