See, and after last week's "Who do you ship?" article, I now know what this means!

You're welcome!

I was all set to join the flame party, but ok, vitriol diffused.

It's like Fitz and the Tantrums, fronted by a woman.

Can't we just be happy that these people are all genuinely talented musicians?

"I liken it to bluffing in poker. It's a known part of the game and it's up to the people you're playing against to figure out if you're being honest or not."

"they really are as easy as driving a car"

Yeah, she projects "late-in-life Mom" in a big way. No husband that we know of(does the book clarify her backstory?), visible grey…it's an odd situation.

Jeopardy and Wheel certainly benefit from their low cost of production. Sports…there's nothing cheap about producing or televising them.

Certainly low overhead has contributed to keeping it on the air.

I will take your word for it.

Ha! Very nice.

Like I said, I must live in a very square language world. I assure you, none of my friends would be familiar with the term or the activity.

I don't know enough about the Boston consolidated metro area to know if that would work. And then you have to get Wahlberg or Damon or Affleck for the accent, and they're getting too old to believably pull off rom-com.

Perfect! Add in a major snow storm that complicates the couple getting together and there you go!

Books, movies and TV shows do exist, but the characters, no matter how emotionally invested we get in them, don't actually exist.

I thought Survivor was still on TV because of the Soma in the water system…

I took no pleasure in the Kittner boy being eaten, but his mother did seem like something of a scold. And then the way she blames Brody!

I really enjoy this show, and I expect to continue enjoying it.

This wasn't different enough for me. If St. Vincent is going to cover something, it should be nearly indistinguishable.
