Good choice.  For a show already in a long gradual decline, it got bad really fast. Season four was a definite drop in quality, but I never regretted watching an episode.  Season five fell off a god damn cliff.  Two joke characters became one joke characters. One joke characters either went fractional or just ceased

Yes, I know that things that now exist previously didn't exist, and as such there was a moment where they went from not existing to existing.  I was merely expressing surprise that I hadn't heard anything about a major film until right before it's released.  Usually these things are advertised to the point that I hear

They did! On South Park a cigarette company executive calmly explained that while their product certainly is dangerous, adults should be free to take informed risks.  Are you trying to say that Trey Parker and Matt Stone don't research issues thoroughly, instead relying on their gut instinct of what an issue is

What the fuck? Where did this movie come from?  I swear this movie didn't exist a week ago.  First I've heard about it anyway.

I've heard that Funky Forest: The First Contact started production as a commercial and ended up being a two and a half hour film.  Not sure if it's true, but it's a beautiful story.

I was using the Community page for the link.  TV Club hub page a better bet?

The scene where Annie breaks the DVD nearly made me cry.

I had it all typed out for right when the article posted.  Damn you people are fast though.

Speed Racer: basically the whole movie.

Fuck yeah Benedict Cumberbatch.  I don't know if he's a big draw to the general public, but he is to me.

"Stuff White People Say"

I don't know a lick of Cantonese, but I still love a lot of his earlier films.  There's enough other stuff going on that missing out on the word play isn't a big deal.  Hell, Chow has such great delivery that plenty of it is still funny even if the joke doesn't translate.

Parents took me to Schindler's List when I was ten.  Good times.

I recently read an article where the author talked about the classic sitcom construction of The Office. I believe his name was Todd VanDerWerff

Counterpoint
Tommy Wiseau

For initiates, I recommend skipping the official FLCL soundtrack. It contains the music as used in the show. As such, a lot of the tracks are missing the vocals. That's fine for playing under dialog, but doesn't make for compelling listening on its own. Just go straight to Little Busters, Runners High, and Happy

Wizard People Dear Reader is the correct answer. Better than the source material. Better that pretty much anything.

I'm pretty sure you're the only one fucking there, OP. Your choice in Onanistic fantasies is an odd one, but I guess it's that freedom of choice that makes America great.

Intro To Political Science
Nice to see Dan Harmon throw water on that one being a Jeff and Annie "will they won't they" episode. It was a funny Greendale centric episode, something lacking in the back half of the season. It could have worked well as a season one episode. another common complaint about the second
