It’s more of a long-form essay in a video form. The funny thing is that Mauler moves from one scene to the next at such a brisk pace, it’s almost staggering. But that’s what happens when dealing with a film that is as profoundly bad as TLJ, it takes a while to unpack everything.

I actually enjoyed Looper quite a lot and was really happy when they announced his involvement. Anyone but J.J is a plus in my book. Then of course TLJ is what it is and my faith in Johnson is all but gone. Go for it Jesse, watch a random 10 minutes and I guarantee you he’s gonna make you think again about the film…

Just watch a random 10 minutes and I guarantee you will find it a very compelling analysis. This Mauler guy is fuckin brilliant.

The Last Jedi is terrific? Rian Johnson is brilliant? Wow Jesse, can’t really take you seriously anymore. do yourself a favour and watch Mauler’s excellent and thoroughly calm and deep analysis of the film and see if you fell the same way after that.

Maybe it is simply because it’s done right.
