Personally, I hope they do bring the scorpio over with the current bodystyle. I hate all of these new SUVs, they all look like friggin Jellybeans. The scorpio reminds me of the old Mitsubishi Montero, but more towards the JDM version.
It only makes sense that this happened in Ohio. They're USA's scapegoat for bad drivers!

One thing I cannot stand, more than anything else, are the assholes (I only have one. but I still hate him) who see that you drive a german car, and think you're made of money and can do all these extravagant mods like its no big deal. This guy seriously thought that the money to put a flowmaster exhaust in my jetta…

@luisthebeast: Even the people who filmed BTTF knew it was a bad engine. in order for the car to drive fast enough on screen, they swapped the engines with (reportedly) porsche engines.
@VeeArrrSix: yeah after I saw reposts say base engine would be a 2.0l producing 115hp, I threw up my arms in disbelief. I bet it'll even be the same BBW from the pzev 04-05 jettas (unless there's a newer revision in the city jetta in canada) even the base spec 1.2TSI in europe is better than the 2.slow
@Novaload: Agreed. Friend of mine drives an XB. VSC light (Always on) CEL (always on) and TCS (Always on) and his engine has a knock. I brought this up and he looked me in the face and said, dead serious "I thought it didn't really mean anything. thats a bad sound coming from my engine?" I have a cel on my jetta right…

@VeeArrrSix: VW 2.0L engine seconded. not only does it meet the criteria of GM's four-banger, (95-115hp power, older than time, doggy and awful) it is still being produced, namely in the US spec of the next jetta. God help us.
