Children of Earth was absolutely phenomenal viewing, and stood head and shoulders above every other thing that Torchwood (which was generally pretty mediocre at best, imo) did.

Children of Earth was great, but last time I watched it was well before I had kids, so it’d probably hit me pretty hard now. One of my favorite Doctor Who quotes was from that, even though technically it’s not Doctor Who.

‘Children of Earth’ was a really great, tragic story. One of RTD’s very best.

I agree with all of what you said. At the end I was disappointed for the first time watching the show. If GRRM was involved Brienne, Pod, Greywrum, Tormend ect would all he dead and hopefully they wouldn't have just let all the Dothraki die for now reason and it wouldn't have been deus ex flying Arya. 

I get they wanted to create a sense of crazy confusion, this was done excellently in the battle of the bastards. But too much of it and you are just watching a jumbled mess that beings to feel like a waste of time instead of edge of your seat excitement.
