Short sellers have been bashing TSLA for years, and they have been on losing side of that argument time after time. There have been plenty of them since well before the stock even hit $100 a share. They want bad publicity around the company, so they can stop getting burned on their bad investments.

George, it’s not likely that industry types will be concerned very much, if at all, by this outcome. As you say, it was a qualification test. The rest of your article belies the fact that you don’t really understand what that means, though.

To clarify, they were missing a few dollars worth of legally required equipment (emergency transponder). All the others stuff clearly tells a story of more money than sense.
