I’m sorry, you are correct - i meant my statement as the majority of bikers at a motorcycle rally such as rolling thunder in DC. Most of those are cruiser riders and i think most of them enjoy the load pipes in the context of the rally.

Sorry but that’s just not true:

The bike i want harley to build is basically the current smaller street bikes, but with more wind protection (medium sized fairing), speakers & phone connectivity, and some additional saddlebag storage but something smaller to fit the bike vs the touring sized bags. All while keeping the price under $10,000.

To say that i and the other 99% of motorcyclist out there, support the actions of the 1% or even the larger maybe 10% that really ride like annoying assholes, just because we also ride motorcycles is it’s self one of the most “embarrassing and willfully ignorant” statements i have ever heard someone older than 5 make.

I’d like to add that Motorcycle culture, like many groups have many different sub groups that can share quite different views.

I have to disagree, i think the majoity of Harley owners are decent people and some enjoy a good rev from loud pipes, but they don’t constantly need it.

You may not like them but plenty of others do. Iif Harley wants to compete they should at least offer them or better yet, have them standard. Choosing not to play music while you ride is easier than trying to add a system aftermarket.

The helmet connectivity may be good for phone calls but when it comes to listening to music or even directions, chances are you are streaming those through you bike speakers.

How is that different from the same old man going to a golf tournament in golf attire, or a car show wearing “his” brand or any other amount of clubs or clicks a person finds interest in and become passionate about?

NV only makes the batteries for the cars (gigafactory 1) as well as the Powerwalls (which are also mainly just batteries)

Maybe it’s just me and my misunderstanding of capabilities but why not launch the torpedo with full fuel, then replace the warhead space with a guidance computer, cut a large hole in the ice and lower a transponder. Once the torpedo finishes it’s training mission have it “swim” to one central location for extraction…
