Newman is actually referring to your tired-ass comment. “I’m so offended by people being offended!”

I understand what you mean about a racist trope, really I just didn’t want to say it sounded like she was being an asshole. So my attempt to tone it down backfired. But it really is the same thing I’d say about anyone of any race, though I suppose that’s unclear online.

Thanks for the lesson. My definition of acting aggressively is arguing with flight attendants when they tell you to put your bag under your seat then grumbling when they walk away. No one is entitled to act like that on a plane.

On an airplane no one is supposed to question authority, doesn’t matter what color you are. There are rules and everyone needs to follow them. Why are you acting like a dick to that guy? People can disagree with you without being racist or Uncle Toms or whatever negative shit you think.

I know what you’re talking about. I’ve only seen a few people kicked off planes, they were all white and real assholes. But the rules definitely aren’t always applied the same and I’m sure there’s a racial component sometimes. My point was really that it probably wasn’t *just* because of the hat she was wearing. I

OK, whatever you say. I’m a racist who talks in coded language.

You know what? Give me a fucking break. What I said had nothing to do with race except in your mind. She herself said she had a tense exchange with the flight attendant and that she wouldn’t put her bag under the seat. Passengers must follow instructions from the flight crew.

That update makes it sound like she got kicked off for more than the hat. Sounds like she was maybe acting aggressively toward the flight attendant, which is a big no-no.

Beep beep beep beep. That’s the sound of the dump truck in reverse. Seriously, though, who cares? I always assume that actors sign on to these franchises mainly for the money. Why else lock yourself into the same movie character for years to come?

Another interesting possibility on TWD: Rick et al actually got played into attacking Negan’s people. They never even seriously tried to negotiate with Negan because they were told not to, and didn’t even bother questioning that.

Most shows don’t need think pieces. And, unlike TWD, the group is traveling toward a specific goal and rarely stay in one place for more than an episode. It never gets bogged down at a farm or prison for whole seasons. Having a specific goal, beyond just surviving, makes the show less hopeless than TWD.

Oh, the first episode is bad. You have to give it some time . It’s all worth it for their visit to Wisconsin. If you accept that nothing about the show is realistic, you’ll enjoy it more. They play the apocalypse as a stylized, absurd comedy. It’s far more enjoyable than TWD, where I think the writing is actually

I’m tired of the whole thing. The mostly non-threatening zombies are just part of it. I watch Z Nation to get my zombie fix. Not a great show, but at least it’s pretty good and entertaining. The zombies are often a threat, and the show has been exploring some interesting stuff with Murphy and his unique position.

Yeah, I know that doesn’t happen and they don’t have the guts anyway, but it would be a brilliant move and inject life into a show that is walking dead.

Carl. That’s how Rick yells when he thinks Carl is in trouble.

Dunning-Kruger Effect.

Kill Rick. Kill Corallll!. Put Negan in charge of everyone. And now you have an interesting show.

“Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.”

That happened to me once, but it was a gingerbread house. Long story.

I wish Mike Allred was doing this. He’s done some amazing covers for Batman ‘66.
