Hamilton’s current purported salary is €35M/year, Max’s is €55M.

RB got Max because Seb left and Daniel and Daniil weren’t tearing it up and Max showed promise. Heck, Daniil wasn’t cutting it at all. Max was clearly the better driver when RB made the mid season swap with him and Daniel.

Hamilton spent 2022 developing the car and still almost passed George in standings. This season, he’s proven why George is not yet ready to take his spot

The obvious mistake was not putting a ‘Thin Blue Line’ on one ass cheek and a Punisher sticker on the other.

I’m confused why the guy feels that Ford owes him anything.  I mean, it sucks that he got ripped off, but it isn’t Ford’s fault.

With the Bronco, Bronco Sport and Explorer, I’m shocked Ford didn’t kill the Escape and Edge last year.

Which, for a flat panel, that’s pretty damn good.  The thing is though, pretty damn good still looks pretty ass.

“See no evil, hear no evil ...”. Depreciation is a real thing. The depreciation on the average car over the first 10 years of its life is probably $2000 - $3000 per year. It’s clearly one of the largest costs of ownership and ignoring it doesn’t make it go away.

I’ve got a spreadsheet that tracks ever dollar we’ve spent on our cars; except gas, I use an estimated MPG + gas cost (too much work). Consider our 5.5 year old 2018 GLC300:

Yeah, seems like there’s lots of programs aimed at the poor, and there’s lots of programs that the rich can take advantage of.  If you are middle class, it seems like it’s hard to take advantage of anything.

I was planning on replacing my 2019 GTI with a Golf R once the warranty ran out in 2025. I was also hoping that VW would fix the complaints about the touch buttons and non-illuminated HVAC controls by that time.

Oh well.

1) Any crash involving an uninsured driver that resulted in property damage, injury, or death likely involves more than just the uninsured driver, and therefore, would likely be reported by the other party(ies) involved.

It’s funny, because it seems obvious that the report is actually suggesting EVs are good.  You’ve only got to drive one for 28k-68k miles before it’s a net positive.  That seems like such a low hurdle if you ask me.

Especially the “However, many households sell their vehicle before they get there” line is dumb, because the vehicle doesn’t stop being environmentally friendly when it moves to its second or third owner. Who cares if it takes until the 2nd owner until it becomes a net positive for the environment if the first owner

If you throw a cooler at someone engaging in reckless driving of an ebike on a sidewalk and kill them you will be committing manslaughter, in the least. You seem to be in the 2 wrongs makes a right category.

So, we should kill every asshole that rides their ebike and electric scooter on the sidewalk?

Yes. It is well established that police cannot kill someone merely for running from them.

There’s nothing that makes this act acceptable. The only outcome would have been severe injury or death. Unfortunately, police are rarely held to the same standard as the general public and he’ll claim immunity and will be supported by the union and chain of command.

2030? You do realize that’s 6 years away. No way cities are going to move fast enough to make themselves more walk, bike and transit friendly.

Second generation F-Series. One of the best looking trucks of all time.
