VW, instead of taking until 2026 to reinvent International/Scout, just buy Rivian and slap a name change on there. VW is massive company, yet somehow is one of the few automotive companies that doesn’t have an “outdoorsy” product line that has been all the rage for the past 10+ years.

Eh. I have been hoping for a Dakota based on the DT platform. Lots of Ram buyers like the smoother ride and fancier interior; something sorely lacking in the midsize truck segment. There has to be dozens of other people like me, right?
