I don’t think you’ve seen the size of child car seats, especially if they still need rear facing ones. I mean, an Elantra will fit them, but it could have a huge impact on front seat space depending on how tall the front passengers are.

Texas would need to change their law on recognition of personhood

Any and all full size sedan based, massive engined, muscle wagons.

The growth of pickups isn’t as bad as everyone says. Sure, the tiny trucks are gone because of a combo of safety and the way fuel economy standards are implemented, but full size trucks are pretty similar in size as way back when. The biggest difference is almost entirely driven by the fact crew cab models exist, as

Dang, my wife was really looking forward to the rumored new CX-90 and we were hoping it would drop for the 2023 model year. Maybe the CX-70 will?

I can’t wait to see how many strikethrough dates we’ll see on whatever Tesla releases next that isn’t based on existing architecture and isn’t the 2021, 2022, 2023* Cybertruck.

Light-a-sight? It’s a crappy version of a near 100 year old Fulton Traffic Light Finder, which is a million times cooler than some lame plastic glued to your windshield, which I’m guessing is a copy of something else before that.

I was trying to give the pre-order people the benefit of the doubt in coming up with a worst case scenario. When the R1T was announced, the base $67,500 explore model was listed with 300 miles of range and Quad motor. So I compared that the cheapest 300 mile range quad motor R1T on their configurator, which is $87k

I’m sure this is flawed, but when the R1T was announced, the base $67,500 explore model was listed with 300 miles of range and Quad motor. So I compared that the cheapest 300 mile range quad motor R1T on their configurator, which is $87k today. I guess I was trying to give the pre-order people the benefit of the doubt

So the best I can tell, is that prices seem to have gone up about 30% (correct me if I’m wrong) since Rivian first released pricing about 2 years ago. Inflation is about half of that price increase. So an additional 15% on something that is so in demand they literally can’t build them fast enough doesn’t really sound

What other new cars have you driven and how does the infotainment compare to those? Part of me is thinking that yeah, the system probably isn’t that bad compared to cars a few years old a typical buyer might be comparing it to. But when it comes to reviewers, they are always driving new stuff making VW’s system seem mu

So because Dodge used the 70 as the base for this carbon model here, is that proof it’s better than the 69? I think we would both agree that isn’t the case, right? You’re argument is that only the best parts continue to be reused, then why do they have the worst front end on their new carbon one? Or is that a bad

Rear suspension design is the deciding factor and not AWD vs FWD or 250hp vs 286hp (or 275hp) vs 200hp when comparing those three? I would think those make a way bigger difference than the rear suspension design.

True, except there aren’t off the shelf ones for 67-72 GM trucks.

How the heck are people able to find this stuff?

Dually of the same era? GM wasn’t making duallies until 1973 when they came out with the squarebody dually. Early duallies were more or less just stepside fender mounted on the outside of a fleetsided bed and looks nothing like this.

Small back window was ‘67 only, which had the big window available as an optional extra. GM did away with it and decided to have the “premium” big window standard going forward.

The round taillights are perfection on a perfect car. And I’m not saying the split grille is bad, it is better than the lipstick-like front end of the 70; but it is certainly not as good as the full width grill in the 68. Sorry to say it, but they got it right the first year.

Shoulda made it a ‘68. Everyone knows that it’s the best year Charger.

That bed trunk is awesome 99.9% of the time, but it forced Honda to have a really compromised spare tire location. So if you’re using your bed and get a flat while it’s full of something like gravel, mulch, any big furniture/appliance, etc; you’re not gonna have a good time sitting on the side of the road emptying out
