LOLOLOLOL. So what is a better bang for the buck?
No, 100% selfishly for myself. I’m tired of my Tacoma and have been looking to go back into a sporty car. I have a new born and was surprised how big rear facing child seats are. A big requirement is that my wife be able to sit comfortably with the rear facing seat behind her, something we can’t do right now and…
So... ahhh.... How tight is the backseat in that Alfa? Do the big rear facing child seats fit well back there? Do the front seats have to be pushed all the way forward?
Is Tesla really luxury though? I find it’s really only their price that puts them in that category, certainly not quality, comfort, or materials, but maybe some of their features I guess? And if it’s price alone you compare on, doesn’t Ford, GM, or Ram sell more “luxury” vehicles in the 40k-100k price bracket with…
Not exactly. Snows typically perform better on all types of snow.
I mean, I said “never driven on actual snows” as in never used dedicated snow/winter tires. Is it not common to call winter tires “snows”?
MT and AT tires suck in snowy conditions and even more so in icy conditions compared to actual snow/winter tires. I have snow rated ATs and they are barely acceptable on snowy roads, I’d much prefer actual snow tires. That little snowflake on the tire doesn’t really mean all that much. Lots of truck/jeep people don’t…
I like the detailed listings, I just miss how it has come at the expense of both affordable cars and non-perfect condition cars. BaT used to have the a huge number of the cars be under $25k and lots genuinely required a trailer. Today, it’s pretty rare for them to have anything but extremely good condition to pristine…
What about freight shipments though? I know it’s really common to fill un-used cargo space on commercial flights with freight/packages/etc. Safe to assume that increased during this due to the extremely low passenger utilization?
Oh boy do I know that feeling well. I have 2 short bed trucks. I’d never change my old short bed C10, but my short bed double cab Tacoma could definitely benefit from a midgate; getting 8' sheets of plywood this summer was uncomfortable enough that I didn’t even try to get 10' sheets of drywall in either truck. Getting…
Yeah, I saw that. I guess they are purposely vague at this point seeing how far out they are at this point.
Oh man, that sounds awesome. Seems great on a full size truck/SUV, but makes me think it would have been even more amazing on something small like the Maverick or Santa Cruz.
Yeah, I’d like to know if the initial WT is the 400 mile range one and if it comes with the mid-gate too.
Wait a minute, so the bed cover could seal water tight against the glass when the midgate was down? So dropping the midgate didn’t mean you lost the watertight cab or watertight bed? How did I not know that.....
- people will continue to complain about range anxiety even though they are driving less than they ever have and their current car has less range than several of the EVs on sale today. Meanwhile, the grownups in the EU will continue to drive the global demand for EVs.
I’m not sure I get the hate about the Charger. Yeah, it’s old, but what about it being old makes it worse than the newer competition exactly?
Lol, that got me.
I mean, I get your snark, but at the same time, how often do you see new cop cars vs new school buses, new city buses, new garbage trucks, new snow plows, new fire trucks? Seriously, as soon as the new Explorers and Tahoes were out, it took like a month or two to already see the local & state police with them. Why do…
I mean, yeah, it’s pretty old. But it’s still a great car overall. It rides well, has tons of configurations/options, pretty modern features, and still even has fairly competitive safety ratings. What is a competitor that is better?
Eh, the Sienna does have a the HUGE compromise of not being able to remove the middle row. For a lot of people, that might not matter, but I think it is probably a big deal for most people and they won’t realize it until they already own it. My vote is Pacifica, my only complaint with the hybrid is you gotta give up…
