For the guy looking at the high value Miata, I second Tom’s recommendation. However, I’d like to add that you should specifically get a policy that has an “Agreed Value” or something similar, and that you know what that value is. Sometimes collector policies just use a different “book” that may not reflect the market

Did I mention the existing tax credit? I’m saying if there is a new credit, it needs to be different.

If there is another EV tax incentive, it should only go towards affordable EVs or middle to low income people only. Luxury and high end EVs have already proven themselves to be competitive. Well off people have already shown they like and can afford EVs as well have the detached private homes that really suit EVs

How else are you going to continually push the “this thing is big” unless you take every effort to make that apparent?

I fear I will now be judged for the filth I look at on the internet.

Exactly, I can’t imagine how much shit I would get from readers here if they saw what I paid for my minimally rusty 1969 C10.

I own a old truck . Lots of lazy ass people often don’t reinstall seatbelts after taking out the bench to reupholster it or the old janky ones sucked and they are too cheap to spend the $150 on new ones.

It’s not any higher than the cowl around the gauges. I’d assume it’s like any other car that has a screen there in that the only sight line it blocks is either your view of the dash, view of the hood, or a combination of the two.

At least in my area, 340s and are easily 40% more expensive for similar miles/trim. C43s and S4s are at least 50% more expensive with similar options and miles. I’m sure the Jag had more incentives when first sold, but enough to come close to making up that resale difference? I doubt it.

Holy depreciation! Is there another car on the market in 2017 that would have taken a worse hit?

‘65 Buick Skylark

It’s not that limited. It’s classic Harley, make 1 less bike than there is demand for. Not make 10% of what demand is so only a few actually get to own what they want.

You were so close with Saab, but picked the wrong one. Saab 9000 had the best seats of all time, and a great interior.

To be fair, I typically have the option at least. Most manufacturers have one of 4 options when it comes to selling goods directly or with retailers:

So we should keep pointless jobs around that make stuff more expensive for everyone else around, just to keep people employed? I mean, the service jobs that dealerships provide will still be there, along with other value add jobs; but why should we keep a full staff of people who only add cost and friction to the

$50k R? I think the starting price is more like $40k. If you’re stacking $10k in options on top of that (is that even possible with the R?) thats on you.

I always love the comments that compare completely unrelated vehicles in completely different price brackets often times from entirely different decades.

Is it any more difficult to stand up than other full fat ADV bikes like say a GS, Tiger 1200, or 1290 Adventure? The announced weight of something like 535lbs sounds fairly reasonable for the class, but how high up is it placed?

That they’re shit bikes

Hot Rod Garage, Roadkill, Roadkill Garage, Dirt Every Day, Engine Masters... what can I say, I like the MotorTrend stuff.
