Fair enough. I didn't mean to knock on your choice. Enjoy the bike when you get it.

Well, that is a big if since STIs don’t normally sell above sticker, at least in my area. I’m 99% sure they didn’t sell it with the markup, seeing how it was on the lot so long and the later offers to me to buy it without it. But yeah, they sure didn’t lose any money keeping a relatively high margin, kinda low-ish

Maybe it’s me and this is my first time ever hearing of Janus, but boy do they NOT seem worth the price. Yeah, they have a pretty neat look but $7500+ for the 250? $13,500 for the 450cc Halcyon? Am I taking crazy pills here? Am I the only one that thinks these look about as “high quality” as a Urual or Enfield? I’ll

But FWD models are also hybrids. Surely that means there is already an electric motor, regardless of FWD or AWD, somewhere in the front of the van. So do AWD models have 2 electric motors, one in the front paired with the gas engine powering the front wheels, one in the back solely powering the rear whiles; while FWD

“We would be losing money if we sold it at MSRP” when I was looking at a STI. I had already lost most of my interest when I was told I couldn’t test drive it, but still interested in it enough to try and haggle on price. The other Subie dealers were a lot nicer with way better pricing, but it turns out I didn’t like

In the new Sienna, hybrid is standard, but AWD is optional, how does that work? They add another electric motor in the back when you want AWD, but move it to the front for the FWD models? To me, that seems way more complex than having a hybrid FWD setup, then just simply adding a transfer case/rear drive shaft/etc

In the off road world, Cooper is more than respectable. They have a few tires that are bright spots and compete with the “top tier” BFGs and Goodyear offerings, but I’d say as a gross generalization Coopers off road & truck tires are seen as a 2nd tier only to more premium BFG and Goodyear.

This bike isn’t going after young riders, at all. This is going after the remaining dentists who ride motorcycles, but don’t already own a Harley. You know, the ones in their Aerostich suits with GSs or Tiger 1200s that always seem to be in a small group in a Starbucks parking lot? I kid, I kid, but honestly though, a

While we should take JD Powers ratings with a huge grain of salt, am I the only one surprised to see Honda so poorly ranked? Below the likes of Ram, Dodge, & Mini which everyone seems to regularly make fun of for poor quality & reliability?

Pretty much? Isn’t it exactly that? I mean, now that both Chevy & Ford have IRS in their Tahoes/Suburbans & Expeditions, the Sequoia is probably the SUV least altered from the truck platform it is based on.

Lots of cars use a long vacuum line to open/close exhaust openings on cars with dual exhaust or multiple exhaust tips for noise control and I think help with exhaust/catalytic warmup too. I’ve never heard of regular problems with it. Am I just unaware? What’s the big deal with having a vacuum line run back there?

Now that I think about it, it really is crazy how like 80% of Subarus I see are Crosstreks, Foresters, and Outbacks. I think I’m most surprised that the Ascent wasn’t a bigger hit. Maybe it doesn’t give off enough “wilderness” vibes like those other 3?

Isn’t this the same basic arrangement as what BMW has done with the i3 and i8 since they first came out like 7 or 8 years ago? Or Chevy with the Volt, but no ability to have the gas engine directly drive the wheels?

I have no idea what these go for and while this does look like a pretty clean DD condition, I can’t imagine it most people thinking it is worth about 10k USD. I voted NP, but think I would probably be a sucker and overpay at the asking price. They just don’t seem all that popular except for a small niche of people.

The price just blew me away because it is SO much higher than the standard hybrid Rav4 that, when well optioned, puts it close to other luxury plugin hybrid CUV/SUVs. Plug in hybrids like BMW X3, Volvo XC60, Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC, are all within a few thousand dollars if you get the base model luxury model vs fully

Holy smokes, starting at 38k and 47k as shown? For a Rav4? Yeah, I get it’s a plug in hybrid, but FOURTY SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS?

My C10 had clear bulbs in clear lenses. I replaced the lenses with non-factory amber this fall. My older coworkers think it’s sacrilege.

Do it. GMs OBS trucks are going to be hot. Mark my words. First it was the Advance Design, then the early C/K models, now square bodies are hot, next will be OBS. I remember thinking they were kinda lame when the GMT800s came out, boy was I wrong. GMT400s just look plain good, and the 454SS was the best of them all.

JAX? No thanks. Ace? Yes please! That thing looks awesome. Performance figures looks pretty meh unless you get the Performance Edition, but either look like an awesome DD I think. Can I get “Performance Edition” but have it look like the standard coupe? What are the odds this ends up just being vaporware though?

Striking vehicle ≠ vehicle that caused the crash. If someone runs a red light and you tbone them, you are technically the striking vehicle, but not the cause of the crash. If someone doesn’t check for traffic and cuts in front of you, but you can’t stop in time, you’re the striking vehicle, but not the cause of the
