Cole Porter (but watch his bio Night and Day and cringe, except for Mary Martin) and even though he had a wife and kids, there's Leonard Bernstein who scored On the Waterfront

Because Mineo was gay in real life and Dean was gay/bi, I think this plays into their performances.

Laurel and Hardy have been my heroes my entire life. Maybe I was picking up on something. Laurel's too dumb to know he's gay and Hardy's too dumb to know he's not.

But what's interesting about the film is that the butch, sadistic etc. dyke is the only character who can be trusted and the only one who isn't "acting" in real life.

But can you really tell from his music alone?

I should have mentioned Robert Walker. He's brilliant and really creepy

Not to mention Farley Granger in Strangers on a Train.

Reflections in a Golden Eye is a mess, but I think it's excellent. There's all kind of gayness in it, from Brando's repressed officer to his neighbor's flaming house boy. And Brando is magnificent in it. The rest of the cast, including Elizabeth Taylor, are also superb.

I'd argue that John F Kennedy's presidency was the first media-savvy stage-managed presidency of the tv age. Just because he used his charisma, uniqueness, nerve, talent and darling family to promote much that was good, doesn't mean that Cuba, Vietnam, his affairs with mafiosi plants, etc.,weren't also part of the

My favorite movie this year by far has been My Life as a Zucchini. My second favorite is also animated Your Name. They both really show up American animated efforts. I also really liked Kedi, Salesman, After the Storm, Graduation, Norman and Get Out.

I agree Old School isn't nearly as good as Animal House, but at least it's half-way decent, and has its moments. If Animal House is an A, Old School is a B+ and Wedding Crashers is about a C. In the end, Animal House stands alone.

The only time I laughed was Wil Farrell's five minutes. The rest of the movie is crap. If we're looking for this generation's Animal House, try Old School.

You mean Murray even has a character that can be assassinated? Who knew?

"anals" of reality TV history? I don't know if I'm appalled at your spelling or awestruck at your brilliant pun

Once a Foxtard always a Foxtard

I know quite well that I'm in a small minority, but I loved The BFG. I'll defend it as one of the best films of last year, and one of Spielberg's best ever. And Ruby Barnhill was outstanding.

I liked Cars more than most of the critics, but Cars 2 was godawful. One anal-retentive irritation for me is when they go to England at the end, that hillbilly truck goes on and on and on about how they drive on the left. Yet the first third of the movie takes place in Japan, where they also drive on the left! And he

John Lennon in Yellow Submarine

I'm a card-carrying libtard

Can we all agree that America's gun laws had absolutely nothing to do with this?
