It is actually the best one he has done in a while. I barely listened to the 2 or 3 right before it.

Speaking of novelizations—did anyone ever read those novelizations of Nintendo games like Ninja Gaiden and Blaster Master? I loved those when I was a kid, but they sure were terrible.

Regardless of what your opinion of objectivism is, calling it toxic was obviously a little too editorial—based on how many people were distracted away from the point of the column into commenting and arguing about the merits (or lack of) to objectivism.

NewsRadio also disappeared recently.

Agreed. Mouse and the Motorcyle is better than Phantom Menace.

I also loved Mouse and Motorcyle. All three.

Hewlett Packard?

I think that applies to the best of all kinds of creators—authors, artists, musicians, even people like Newton and Einstein were so good at what they did partially because they were obsessed with what they did and thought about it all the time.

I agree with you about the Yoda fighting thing. It was like I was supposed to think that was so cool, but seriously? Dooku's line about "We can't settle this with our knowledge of the force, so instead we'll settle it with lightsabers", or whatever he said, was sooo incredibly ridiculous. Yoda don't need no lightsaber.

Noel's opinion is indefensible.

There is reason enough to hate all the prequels equally.

The only good part of Menace is the lightsaber duel at the end. MAYBE the pod race. But the pod race is ruined by baby Anakin bumbling his way to victory. The position that Menace is better than Jedi is indefensible.

I actually would watch your reimagination of Dr. Manhattan. Sounds good.

Hoisted by your own petard?

SHUT UP ABOUT LANA DEL REY.

That's called being an alcoholic.

For some reason I think he's really funny. Maybe because he is a weird addition to a show that I haven't found funny for a couple years, so it shows a willingness to try something that was missing for a while.

I would disagree. That is basically saying that the only funny thing about NewsRadio was Phil Hartman and that the writers and rest of the cast were incapable of creating humor without him. He was awesome, but there was a lot of funny stuff in season 5.

I don't think he even opened his bottle of wine.

I've heard about a thousand people say just about the same thing he did. "If I was was there, then…" Sure it is B.S. but not a twitter-apology-inducing spectacle a la Mel Gibson.
