For me as someone who has listened to the Cure for more than 15 years and have delved into their discography.

John Legend is a good artist?  That guy fucking sucks, he's boring as shit.  I would much prefer Santana doing stuff with John McLaughlin rather than hear more of his pop bullshit and butcher rock classics with Scott Stapp from Crud.
