Did anybody involved with any aspect of this movie maybe consider that there's more than just a bit of irony in an American movie about a bunch of scrappy guerrillas taking on a well-financed, powerful invading army for love of home and country?  I mean, did that strike anybody as bizarre?  At all?  And if not, why?
