One of the main logistics or operational guys, like one in New York and not the bahamas, wouldn’t get paid until the day of the festival when it all came together. So even though they were highly skeptical, it was like they were dangling his paycheck above his head. 

One thing he says in the Hulu doc is that any problem they encountered before the festival he was able to find a way to fix it. Albeit it was a mischievous, probably illegal way, but he ended up finding that way.

Ghostbusters itself isn’t that funny. Like people say it’s this great legendary comedy, and sure there’s a guffaw and a chortle here and there, but it isn’t that funny from beginning to end.
