All I know for certain is that the bathrooms would be a shit show.

AMC theaters now all offer the refill machines in the lobby, but Regal and Cinemark you have to get back in line and only get one refill. Even then, the amount they earn on soda is ridiculous. Like for every $1 you pay in soda, it’s only $0.10, maybe less, to actually make it.

Initially I agree about popcorn, but I’m

Theaters will show it either way because
1. It’s Disney and they have to and
2. they earn a bunch of dough from a 3-hour movie with no intermission and even more from a movie with an intermission.

Think about it. A family gets concessions before the show. intermission comes and they have 15 minutes so what do they do?

And yet, Titanic was 3.5 hours and that sold a bunch of tickets

because now we’re all talking about booking.com and because websites and blogs are writing about booking.com. The value they’re getting publicity wise is far more than whatever they spent on the giving Lea a free bachelorette party

Well hey now, I think three points is still pretty impressive

Sadly, unless there’s a criminal conviction or anything, he’s gonna stick around. Bohemian Rhapsody is approaching the near billion mark worldwide. It might even cross a billion right before or after the Oscars, and then god knows how much in streaming/DVD stuff.

Now it’s still only 73 (as if that’s unimpressive) on

If they signed contracts already, potentially millions to walk away. Also GOTG 3 might be crucial in establishing cosmic things for future Marvel films after all the Tony Stark/Thanos stuff is done.

I think that they’re all wanting to move on after the Gunn stuff, even Gunn has moved on too. Plus, they’re each still

This is clearly a parody of something but I don’t know exactly what. This paragraph in particular shows its an Onion-style parody of the overindulgent culture writing where critics/journalists are now not just critiquing an actor’s performance but their actual career choices.

Yeah Black Panther is really good and all, but come on, it’s main character is the least interesting person in the movie. Also, that headline implies that Captain Marvel is a masterpiece and it hasn’t even come out yet.

Black Panther is not a serious contender for best picture. Roma, A Star is Born, Green Book, The Favourite, and BlacKKKlansman all have better odds. It’s heavily favored to be Roma, Oscar voters are approaching it the same way they approached Moonlight two years ago, Roma has the diverse story that helps make the

One of the main logistics or operational guys, like one in New York and not the bahamas, wouldn’t get paid until the day of the festival when it all came together. So even though they were highly skeptical, it was like they were dangling his paycheck above his head.

One thing he says in the Hulu doc is that any problem they encountered before the festival he was able to find a way to fix it. Albeit it was a mischievous, probably illegal way, but he ended up finding that way.

Ghostbusters itself isn’t that funny. Like people say it’s this great legendary comedy, and sure there’s a guffaw and a chortle here and there, but it isn’t that funny from beginning to end.

Now is it a great movie? Sure. But it’s nostalgia like you said, that weird remnant of the 80s that people are nostalgic about.

Perhaps they’re looking to sell the channel, or have already sold it, and if more people view while it’s still under current ownership of Otter, Otter could still be profiting from views and ad revenue. So they have to make everything go dark until they switch over all those accounts and logins and baking info to

Isn’t it inaccurate to say tweeted? Like, if say there was a tweet from George Clooney that said “I’m running for president,” we can’t officially say that George Clooney, the actual man person, tweeted it, we only know that it came from his twitter account/was tweeted from his Twitter account, since there are some PR

Aimee I like that you write for Lifehacker now in addition to Jezebel, I’m glad you’re exploring new things :)

I watched all of it and enjoyed it but honestly can’t remember a single character, their name or two to three words to describe their personality or a sentence or two to describe the machinations of their inner self  besides Ruth or Debbie (I always just thought of Sam as Marc Maron). Compare that to another Jenji
