I have begun to fear that she will die this season, because she’s finally capable of destroying all her enemies all on her own, like she does most things. But that can’t happen because it’s too easy.

In order to volunteer at any of the schools in our school district, you have to fill out an application which includes permission for them to do a background check. I am of the hope that ‘former serial killer’ would preclude someone from volunteering.

I don’t know the history for this family, but so often there are 911 calls, attempts at getting protection orders, or reports to the state’s child welfare department in the past for families where abuse is this intense. There are often times when law enforcement could have stepped in but didn’t.
