PSGM is the best thing he did that decade.

My Halloween Complete Collection Blu-ray box was missing Halloween II for over a year, could not find it last October.

Ugh, why does every shot have the “camera” moving? There’s something to be said for a series of well-composed static shots, especially brightly animated ones.

I miss her ginger curls. Love them redheads!

I bought the DVD of Link recently after not having seen it since the late ‘80s but haven’t watched it yet. Surely a movie is just as good watching it as an adult as it was as a young teen.

Srsly! Mr. “Wells”??? Matty Schims ought to get tf off the AVC payroll and into a remedial film history class.  How embarrassing for this site.

I don’t think he was coded - wasn’t he weepy over breaking up with a boyfriend?

Roger Ebert liked it, and he was never wrong!

Now playing

I never let an opportunity pass to post this clip:

Yeah Hollywood’s a bit of a flamer but so what? Some gay men are. Haven’t seen the movie in decades but I don’t recall him being ridiculed because of it or any gay panic jokes.

I saw it at a double feature with Hoosiers. For 13-year-olds such as myself then, it’s fine.

A popular film released in 1987 that wasn’t deeply homophobic either by commission or by omission is Mannequin.

Gay movies are mostly terrible, generally.

Yeah I remember this one being super gory for a major-studio movie which made it a lot of fun.

At my first movie-theater job a mom tried to sue use for selling her 15-year-daughter a ticket to Rain Man, possibly the mildest R-rated movie ever.

AMC did. I was denied Reform School Girls and The Fly.

I was sold a ticket at age 12!

Totally. I lived there 2000-2004 and the natives were awesome and not at all stereotypically rude.

Disclosure...Disclosure...where’s Disclosure?” I’m going. Turns out all this time I’ve confused her with Roma Maffia. Never mind.
