I think the problem is that they hit the reboot button in order to “do away with baggage” and “get back to basics”, but then they end up taking the baggage back on for various reasons. They can’t please all the fans and they invariably find bits of discarded baggage that they sorta liked and want to recycle in some…

They did that with amiibos. I wish they would do that with this. I am sick of this habit of Nintendo’s. They've been doing it since the NES (read Console Wars for more details on that. Suffice to say, they did it with all their merch to keep up demand, and retailers hated it.)

Bethesda doesn't do that with theirs, and they do just fine. The demand is there for games like these. This is the kind of special edition where they should have printed as many as possible, if they were smart.
