I agree about the resolution (anyone watching a 55" TV from 6' away who says they can tell the difference between 4K and 1080p is lying to you lol), but the HDR does make an appreciable difference. That’s only available on the top-tier plan as well.
Shouldn’t it be up to Dexcom to fix their app, not Apple?
If 20% isn’t consistent enough for you, why do you keep using it?
THIS. I would love to take advantage of 4K/HDR streaming but - as a fellow single guy living alone - the price is too high. I don’t need to pay for a bunch of extra streams, especially now that Netflix is getting all pissy about me sharing them with people outside of my home.
It might not be lab-accurate, but if it’s close enough for daily monitoring it’ll be a hit. If the watch says I’m at 6.2 but I’m *actually* at 6.74 I’m OK with that.
What sort of standalone device do you envision, if not a watch? The point is to have continual, non-invasive monitoring, so wouldn’t it have to be worn on the wrist?
No, YOU’RE a desktop
[deleted because I commented on the wrong story - I blame the awful auto-scroll lol]
Does anyone want this? I can’t imagine the NBA ever wanting to switch from the current ball to this thing just because it doesn’t go flat - they have plenty of backup balls hanging around.
Paul Rudd’s third time around as former criminal turned Avenger Scott Lang
You’d think so. That requires any sort of internal logic though.
Officials also restricted the animals from going out at night
They did it for free, I think. Very charitable of them.
Haha, right? Every stadium in the world is free for an infinite number of nights - with no other events planned - so it should be easy!
How would they lower the demand, exactly? Pay people to stop being fans?
Don’t install apps from outside the App Store then? Apple allows users to run apps from unidentified developers on their Macs, they could do so on iOS as well - and you could still stay safe!
It will never not be funny to me that the government lauds companies like Apple for being huge American success stories, but then asks them to stop doing the thing that helped drive that very success.
Fair enough.
I read somewhere that the camera and the LED indicator on Macs are wired in series, meaning that the camera can’t be on without the indicator being on. Assuming that that’s correct, it seems like an easy way for manufacturers to make the indicator more trustworthy.
