Are you ever able to go back to that first tomb from Syria (I think that’s the area) later on in the game? I missed one of the environment challenges and I was kicking myself in the butt for progressing too fast.

I’d say I’m about halfway done with this game - I got it with my Xbox on Black Friday, and it’s so...endearing. It tries really hard, but man, some of the design decisions are so frustrating, such as the boss battle difficulty spikes. The Bolt Cutter was brutal!

Why was it that my first thought with the pillbox butt hat was, “Man, that kind of looks like a massive anus.”

God, I’m gonna miss Obama. :’(

This is a great book, as is this whole series from Boss Fight. Highly recommended if you want to read about games from a variety of critical perspectives. The book on Super Mario Bros. 3 by Alyse Knorr is fantastic!

Maybe it’s this horrible past week, maybe it’s the arrangement of the film’s theme, maybe it’s because I loved the animated film as a little gay kid and still do, but this has me crying at work. Thank god no one is in yet. I think they’re sick of me breaking down and running into a room.
