Enough with this whole inability to separate artists from their art. If we’re going to stop looking at, listening to, etc anything from anyone that does anything we as a society don’t like, we’re going to have to empty every museum in the goddamn world, and cancel radio as a medium. OT and just musing. I understand when women object to being called a “female” as a noun. As if, that’s the basis of what you are. I can see why that’s objectionable. As a noun, I get it.

Jane Mayer was on Terry Gross recently talking about her piece and while these allegations were coming about at the time, I found it hard to believe about Al Franken being depicted as some habitual sexual predator. It just came out of nowhere with no prior mentions or flags raised among his peers in the past.

This is such a weird article. Like, it’s obviously trying to say something, but it just won’t say it directly. It’s like someone talking incessantly about hats in the hopes that eventually the person they’re talking to notices the new hat they’re wearing.

I love how this headline describes a totally reasonable thing, but is apparently supposed to be self-evidently terrible (“An actor thinks actors should be allowed to play a lot of different roles? How ridiculous!”)

Oh, AV Club, you once again remain undaunted in ensuring your wokeness and virtue shines forth brightly like a blazing torch in the night, serving as a glorious beacon for us mere folk to only aspire to follow.
