You don’t have to spend a lot of money to do the work right the first time, in fact it is typically a lot cheaper. But a lot of the work ( the transmission especially) was half assed multiple times. That isn’t smart or cheap.

David put a lot more work into it by doing things half-assed and having to do them again instead of doing them right the first time. Just yesterday, he was rebuilding the transmission that he previously rebuilt, again using marginal used parts instead of the brand new internals that he could have sourced relatively…
