@modestmouse: unless you want to call someone, and not be tethered to a wifi network.

This is kind of disappointing. I really loved the idea of Google Wave, I had it, but it never really got used. I wish I could've used it, but I could never get anyone I knew or worked with to use it. It will be missed, perhaps it was just too ahead of it's time.

What I wonder is why isn't the image just blurry, and instead you see individual propeller blades?

My only concern would be if over time they lost their shape. Like what if they got left in the car, would they go soft and lose their shape and not fit properly?

@Standish: And boom goes the bomb!

It seems everyday phones are getting closer and closer to becoming a low spec personal computer.

@Scratic: What a classy group! Good times all around.

This is all kinds of win.

But how does it navigate turns?

I always thought it was a really neat concept, but I never got to truly test it out because I didn't work with anyone or know anyone else who had it.

@KamWrex: I'm glad someone else noticed that.

@Joe Stoner: But a tablet is really just a different form factor of a netbook, and legally only Windows runs on netbooks, and AV software is necessary and it doesn't affect battery life all that much even with real-time scanning.

@Joe Stoner: Eventually depending on it's long term popularity it will become an issue for the iPad and people will be caught with their pants down, because there's no software to protect it. Where as this tablet, and similar ones, run standard Windows 7 for which there are a plethora of AV software out there and it

@Joe Stoner: And the iPad isn't susceptible to viruses and stuff? Most anything that's connected to the internet should have some kind of anti-virus software. Microsoft or Apple, it doesn't matter. Both can and will get viruses or spyware if they're exposed to it.

@Future Retro: I prefer Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens, if for nothing more other than the acronym.

@tomsomething: You could always take the jpeg and photoshop it to make it look more zombified.
