@Wax: I think the 3rd woman is Bob Wallace's wife.

@gonzorider: Nevermind, I'm going to assume that the 3rd lady is Bob Wallace's wife.

If Bob Wallace died in 2002, did they paste him in to the 2008 picture? Because both pictures have the same number of people...11.

That LA Times story is being awfully sensationalist. I really doubt the Four Loko had anything to do with those teens dying. It more than likely had more to do with the drug use, that can't be mentioned because it could interfere with the investigation...WTF but mentioning something like Four Loco doesnt?

See this guy followed rule number 1. Two faces and the ball.

@vinod1978: Indeed, while we are far from as successful as the WSJ. And honestly a subscription based model only works if everyone news source does it. We for example have the benefit of owning all the local papers in our area, and the television stations who really compete with don't tend to publish feature stories

@vinod1978: @vinod1978: Readership won't really drop that much, page views, probably. At least initially . People who they get money from already probably won't drop. And they have a pretty reputable product that I think given time people will be keen to pay for.

@Daetaga: I'm fine with that, but then it's the nearest dime, either way, either the consumer or producer, will either gain or take a loss depending on the transaction.

@ever_ton: I'm find with rounding, but my point is in the article it says " I figured this loss in manufacturing would make for a good reason to kill off the penny" and my point is you can't do that because we don't force merchants to round to the nearest nickel.

@cbytes: I'm all for rounding prices, but in the US, they still don't so until that becomes mandated or everyone starts doing it the penny is still a necessity. Example, I bought some coughdrops for 1.99 with a 9.25 percent sales tax it is 2.17, if I pay with a 5 dollar bill I'll get 2.83 cents change.

The thing is with sales taxes and what not, you really can't kill off the penny because you get odd prices for things, (ie things that aren't ending in .o5, .oo, .50 etc) So you need pennies still to dispense proper change.

If they really wanted to fix the problem of corners curling up they would've just made a circular post-it note. And you say then the hole thing would curl up, then make something wear you don't already curl it when you peel it off.

@NateZ28: because it's fundamental in html coding which you can add to your comments like this looks it's bolded

@CountChocula: Yeah, but that's the only way I see to shift, and not all cars have a semi-auto trans so maybe if the car only comes with a floor shifter you'll have to use the clutch pedal. That might be a bit of a stretch though. I'd rather see if come with a regular shifter myself.
