I realized awhile ago that in its 40 years SNL has had exactly two performers of East Asian background (Fred Armisen and Rob Schneider)
I'll be honest: I haven't actually seen Jost, but it sounds like most people don't like him. But I wasn't super impressed with Strong as anchor when I saw her with Meyers.
I seriously doubt that who is on WU has much to do with the overall ratings of the show.
She had exactly six months more experience at the desk than he did.
